Droolns Nubia aka Mia

Meet Miss Mia, the keeper of my heart, I don't think there are words to describe how I feel about this little girl. Mia was out of Faccia's first litter sired by our Droolns El Diablo, the litter in itself was a surprise because we had tried on several occasion to breed Faccia with no success. We were blessed with 7 healthy very loud puppies on Oct 20th 2002.
At first all went well with the litter, I had actually made the remark when we delivered Mia that I thought she was a keeper, how true my words were.
Mia by the 2nd day of life was an obvious runt of the litter, we took her off mama and started to hand feed her, she was a strong eater but so much smaller then the rest of the litter that she was not thriving. She did have a very rough start, she had to be fed every hour to keep from getting hyperglycemic, and her temperature wouldn't stabilize so I kept her inside my shirt at all times. I don't go very far when I have a litter of babies, but I do still have to go out and get essentials :) Mia was a frequent visitor to the grocer here in town , hey I couldn't leave her alone.
So I think it is safe to say that Mia and I have a very close and strong bond, I know that she is spoiled rotten :) but I cant help it, one look and it is pretty much well over lol she has me firmly wrapped around her paw :) Mia has quite the extensive collection of photos we will be adding more galleries to her page as we collect them from the computer.
