Poker vs Blackjack |
Just as long as there have been poker and blackjack there has been a
dispute between those who play blackjack
and those who play poker. As for me, I wouldn’t bet for any
of these positions but let’s try looking at it objectively.
One of the main problems with blackjack is that however good your
online blackjack strategy is, online blackjack odds are such that if
one plays long enough, the house is doomed to win. This is due to a
built in casino edge, as in slot machines and video poker. At the same
time it makes it even more fun trying to bit the game. And even though
skill effect at the game is quite limited, blackjack players have found
a workaround, so if the casino let’s playing blackjack to
clear the casino bonuses, playing so will give you the edge.
Poker is completely different. In poker no one plays directly against
the house. In online and public room games, the house edge is the poker
rakeback, but players still plat against each other. That’s
why in online poker strategy luck is the factor to include, but it can
always be taken over with the skill and a good player can calculate
online poker odds and get the pot.
But the best thing about poker and blackjack is that there is nothing
to stop you from playing both. Some days, when you feel yourself lucky
you can go and play blackjack and when you feel like counting and
checking online poker odds are there for you. Enjoy!
